Sorry I could not play last night. How did the tourney go?

I did play in an earlier $50 freeroll and came in 2nd for $10 (wooohooo). I built up an early stack and cruised into the money. Then my chip stack dropped to 3BB and I was on the SB with 58o. Everyone folded to me and I said "What the heck" and went All-in and the BB called with KQo. I was hoping he would fold (unlikely with his moderate stack) or maybe a 40-60 situation. Luckily I caught an 8 and won one more hand to make it into 2nd. The eventual winner was catching big hands left and right so I really just waited for cards, while the others got knocked out with marginal hands.

Gad, Titan was extremely SLOW yesterday. The other players were in agreement with me. I was timed out and/or lost my Titan connection several times. Pretty aggravating so I hope things went better by the time the BBP tournie got going.

The game last night was fun, although I am pretty dissappointed in my play towards the end. The blinds were high, and going around quick with only 5 left. I lost my stack quickly. I remember at one point thinking, hmm, I'm doing good, I will probably make it to heads up, and then the next few minutes I was out.

Yea I'm not a big fan of how quickly the blinds go up. I'm sure its to encourage quicker play but we had about 5 people with 2000-3000 bucks each and blinds are 400-800. So if you cant salvage your sb or bb you lose close to half your stack. It then just becomes an all-in fest and whoever can get luckier is going to take it down.

Trips you were dominating in the begining, but the rapidly increasing blinds seemed to be your downfall. Did anyone save the results for BBP?

I know that Acorn did win - with Astros coming in second. I'm pretty sure that godlikev finished 6th, BSGutshot 7th, and Sensei 8th.
