| K sophie is the biggest tard on titan IMO. This is the ft 6 left and steve is sitting out so basically 5 left. Anyway sophie has been limping all sorts of crap and raising with overs and even going to showdown with just overs. Called an all in with aj on a 10 5 3 flop and luckboxed an ace on the river just to let you know. If i hit my flush i'm getting paid off 8 times out of ten. Anyway 77 is out of the question on the flop because he would raise that PF, so its most likely overs. | 'm assuminig this is NoLimit? why didn't you bet out first? it's final table and u want to accumulate chips, you should have bet out first to win it unless he is that actually a terrible terrible donk, ur unlikely to be paid off when u hit your flush card unless the rank of the flush card that hits is the same as the over cards his holding. let me just ask you, if you do call, what will you do when: 1. the flush card hits on turn: 2. flush card doesn't hit on turn: |

| ch/r all in after he bets 3k again (Which he will do regradless of the card) last thing i want to do is bet out and get raised ~ i was tempted to push the flop. when it doesn't hit i'll call with the correct effective odds and amazing implied odds to chase. EDIT: ch/r all in if my DIAMOND HITS -ad Last edited by ad1129 : 04-25-06 at 03:48 PM. |

that's quite a big move considering you don't know the opponent well enough and there's 1 card to come and all u have is flush draw.... |

in an online MTT a hour and a half worth of play with an opponent is enough for me to get a good read on a complete donk. Kids bets are transparant i had his hands/range dead on for the last 20 hands or so he has been invovled in. As i said i was looking at overs or 7s if he has 7s i'm taking his stack when my diamond hits, if he has overs and my diamond happens to hit one of his cards i'm taking his stack. If he has A high i might be taking his stack if the card was a ragged diamond. This kid was terrible and i don't think how thats quite a big move? I'm getting implied odds out the ass + the correct effective odds you can't justify a fold on the turn or flop i was just looking for a way to blame myself for the outcome of this hand. Here it is. TheAudition: Call $3000 *** TURN *** [D7 S3 D3 D5] TheAudition: Check sophiesmiles: Bet $3000 TheAudition: Allin $28205.92 sophiesmiles: Allin $22217.92 *** RIVER *** [D7 S3 D3 D5 C3] *** SHOW DOWN *** TheAudition: shows [D8 D6] (Flush) sophiesmiles: shows [SA C7] (Full house) *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $66923.84 TheAudition: wins $2988 sophiesmiles: wins $63935.84 Nothing like getting 4 outed on the river. I'm confident that hand cost me at least 150 dollars o well thats pokah. |

Exactly. There is not much else you can do or that you would have wanted to do IMO. You got all your money in with the best hand that was a huge favorite. You got out drawn and as you said thats poker. Still must have had a decent pay day even if it should have been more. |

I think its only 2.5:1. Unless your rounding up b/c the draws. I still fold this though. by your description, the guy didnt have 77, but did you not think of A-x? It could be a 7, and if so, you need to catch that flush, or maybe an 8, and your 6d wont help you.. If its A3, then your dead and need a diamond . I don't like wasting any chips at a final table with 6 left without a hand, and I'm not even the short stack. Let THEM make the mistake of betting into you when you've got the monster.
