| Thjis is more of a question of bankroll management in my opinion than it is of how to play a specific hand. If you have $200 at the table at that given time your total bankroll for that session should be at least $2000 so risking 10% on top pair top kicker is a fairly good bet because you can rebuy if you happen to lose but if your bankroll is only $200 then you pretty much have to fold because if you lose you are done. The biggest mistakes in ring games are not how any particular hand is played because you can lose any hand at any time but come from people playing above the limits they should be playing at. |

| Definitely will make the call. There is no point of you being in that hand if you are not going to play it. I could see if it was the WSOP and you are at the final table then you would really have to think but it is only a couple hundred. I'm speaking on the point of view that I play at the 10/20 when I have time so it's not a major call. Depending on how much was in the pot I would make the call. If you put him on a draw then you definitely have to put your money in you have the best hand. |
