Default lost the skill????

Lately i played a lot of Omaha HL PL $2 SNG's and also on the tables.
But the results in the Holdem NL tournaments has began to drop.
Did i lost a bit of my Holdem skill by playing Omaha HL?
Can someone tell me if this is normal?

I would think that you would actuallly get better at one game by playing another. Mabye you just have to think about what game your playing so you dont get the two games confused.

It really depends...most people will tell you that taking a break from one game and going to work on another will help you when you go back to the old game - it gives you a new way to look at and consider things. But, it does sometimes make you a little rusty when you get back to the old game. It may just take you some time to get back in the groove of playing hold 'em again.

You were right guys.
I start playing Holdem again and the results were very good.
Almost qualified for the WSOP.
