Ok, I recently have lost on the bubble in 3 freerolls and 1 $5 buy-in tourny.

I hate it. I sit there for hours and end up losing on a badbeat right before the cash. I lose 2 on AP in 10th and 14th place when only top 9 got paid. I lost another freeroll on titan when top 35 were paid. I got 45th. I feel like an idiot when I run my stack down right before getting into the money.

Anyone else seem to screw up from time to time and put yourself out on the BUBBLE?

it happens..try to play more tight when u have a stack..and the bubble is coming...

Sorry. I feel the same when i bubble. Its even more horrible when you bubble and a sit out takes the prize. I guess that is poker and shit happens. Just take it as an experience. when you know the bubble is coming only play big hands.

I have lost on the bubble or close and I dont think anything pisses me off more I just learned to pick my spots a little better and it doesnt happen as much now

you have to get more of a cushin then sit down on it until you are guaranteed the money , dont play reckless ect

I think it's kind of ironic that a major reason people go out near the bubble is that they aim just to make the bubble by playing conservatively. This has two effects. One is putting you in a position where you pretty much have to win any hand you play because if you're not maintaining or growing your stack by stealing blinds. The other is that even when you do make the bubble, you've usually given up chips to do so, and with your reduced stack, you have less chance of going deep where the prize amounts get much larger.

I bubbled three times this weekend and just made the money the fourth one. If I would have bubbled four times in one day I would need a new monitor.I did add 2 more players to my every growing hit list so all was not lost.
