It depends on who you get in the room. I was lucky today, and didn't have any maniacs at my tables.

on poker stars freerolls are with 10000 or 12000 people.. i played in them when i started learning poker.. it is only sat for 1500 froll and you need to be in top 28 (i think)..

i was once in top 15 ... but man.. that lasted for hours (more than 7 hours as i remember) .. i had more than million chips in one moment..

but on that 1500 froll it was about 1000-1500 entrants.. and that tourney was really tight.. i was out soon..

Most people in your bigger freerolls 800 people or more play like clowns....same reason I hate small buy in tournys with rebuys...

I just hate pokerstars with a passion. I can't seem to win anything on that site. It's like the system blacks me out and makes sure i lose. Plus they're screen shots of the table is terrible, they definitely need to fix that cuz it's already 2006 and we should be looking at high definition quality rooms not graphics of a 80's cartoon. lol Same with Pary Poker as well they'll let u win however in the beginning but if u continue at their site u are asking for a loss. Happened to me and wasn't very happy but found a new home a titan poker. Titan has definitely treated me well and i definitely respect them for all the improvements they're trying to make.

It's funny to read some of these past posts. I switched to PokerStars from PartyPoker after the latter pulled out of the US market on Oct.13. After playing on it for more than 2 months, I give it two thumbs up. They have great variety of games/tournies, tons of Fish and I'm making dough.

I've found a nice Freeroll and also a small buy-in tournie with added cash. Let's just say "Cha-Ching". All I can say is do some research.
