Congrats T-Bell. Acorn knocked me out in 4th place. We all had about 10K and I got dealt K6 in the BB. The blinds were $400/$800 and the SB (Acorn) raised it to $2k, which I called. The flop came out JQK rainbow and I went all-in. Unfortunately, SB called and had A8, cause the turn was a 10 and the River was a blank. I was about a 2:1 favorite, but got KO'ed by the straight. Good call/cards Acorn!!

Thanks, everybody. Even without the part about winning, that was so much fun! You guys are great to play with. It's really nice to play with serious players.
And the chat was a hoot! I was cracking up half the time.
NewAlf almost took me out early on. I had KK, and another K showed up on the board. But so did 3 hearts, and a straight possibility. He went all in, and I was torn. Was he full of it? Were my trip kings good? Or had he made the flush or straight? I folded. I have to go back and see if I made the right call.
I never like to play too aggressive at first, but I kept getting the cards to do that. Then I hit a real lull in the middle of the game; nothing but rags. I got pretty worried a few times when I was waaaay down in chips.
I thought the heads up portion would last longer than it did. I was surprised when it lasted about 2 hands, I think. I wasn't too keen on Q with a weak kicker. But it was good enough.
I look forward to another enjoyable, exciting game next week, regardless of where I finish.

Yeah I knew that I was beat but I had at least 7 outs so I just wanted to either take the chip lead or get out so I could go watch baseball, on any other day I probaly wouldnt make that call cause I dont think I was getting the odds.
