Well, I don't know that it's a secret, or even a good strategy. But I try to play very tight until I pass the bubble. Then I switch to tight aggressive (or at least, as aggressive as I get ... )

I love Pokerstars for the variety of tourneys they offer.. My favorites are the 180 person sngs.. Ive done the $20 buyins and the $4.00 buyins. The $20 sng pays a cool $1030 to first place... Ive gone deep and cashed but havent final tabled yet. Will be back to doing more of these next winter.

With events like the WCOOP, EPT, WPT, WSOP satellites, the blogger championship etc, you cant find more of a variety of tourneys then on stars. I also like the Deep Stack tourneys.. prepare to spend a good 9 hours at them if not more if you go deep.

Pokerstars customer service is also right on. I play more on Titan but have pretty much moved off AP except for league games and do most of my other playing on Stars now.

I love to play the heads up tournaments. The buy in depends on my bank roll but I usually play either 5 or 10 dollars.

pokerstars is very good for thier variety of touneys that they host but for the number of people playing online u can see why they have more options of touney and cash game play compared to other sites. the drawback is the quality of poker tends to be very poor because you got people on the site who really dont know what their doing. emhasism on jokerstars the king of getting rivered with marginal hands beating your monster

That's where one of the keys of poker comes in: observation. It's critical to see how your opponents play to help prevent that from happening as often.

I love Stars personally. I am starting out very low, and playing no more then $3 buy-ins. I especially like the 18 player SnG. And now they have added Horse and Razz 18 player SnG, how can you beat that?

What I'm tired of at Poker Stars is their house pros (think Tom McEvoy) playing in qualifiers when they receive free entry to final events. All they do is prevent other players from qualifying, which isn't a good way to keep customers happy.
