Hey Sensei, this last link seems to be down, or at least it was when I tried it just now. No matter, really. I think everyone who wants to see this shot has already seen it.

I'm not up on soccer; did he get any fines or anything for doing this? And was the other player injured by the headbutt?

i think the damaged player( the victim of zidane) will be puneshed(actualy i am sure that will not be able to play in the next 2 games)..because he recognize that he said bad things about zidane;s sick mother...sincerly i must be with zidane for this one becouse i think i would of kicked his but for multiple verbal agresion of my mother to.

and zidane;s mother said" i am proud of him"

Materazi said that he is a big fan of Zidane. He has a shirt with zidane from a match in Seria A.
Zidane did get the prize for the best world cup player. He is a good player but this kind of actions must not be seen in a soccer game, especcialy ihn World Cup Final.

He called him a terrorist..if anything Zidane should of done MORE than just heatbutting him. Not to mention the fact the side ref didn't even see the HEADBUTT untill they replayed it in the stadium, such disgraceful refs this year at the WC.

As 4 me 2

Although it's a real delicate issue, I think it was just the worst way of ending one's career.

(And making me lose my money, as I was betting on France 2 win ;P )

I don't even know where to begin. When I saw it I couldn't believe it. 10 minutes to go. There really can be no reason to act in that way. Z has some anger and that has been evident throughout his career. But this is the World Cup and his team needed him.

There are ways to get back at a player. He chose the worst possible option. France and Italy played a great game and the refs improved tremendously after the first round. The world cup was fun to watch and I am sorry it ended the way it did.

What I think is more disturbing is how people are condoning his actions or making it a racial issue for their own benefit. His actions were wrong and I am sorry he got the red card, but he deserved it.

As for the clips. I love the game and the light post.
