Making note ... any time Trip raises, he has The Hammer. Stay away, because he will catch donkey trips on the flop.

The starting hands that I like the most are suited connectors like 8-9 and 9-10 cause a lot of times you get everyone raising with face cards pre-flop and then when they all come out, they hit pairs but you have a good chance of hitting straights.

Default fave hand

I'm gonna say that my favourite starting hand is obviously pocket aces or kings. First of all, you have an advantage of having the highest pair even before the flop, which is always handy. Secondly, even if someone hits a pair on the flop, you STILL have the higher pair, therefore still at the advantage. Furthermore, if you happen to hit your set on the flop-turn-river, you're pretty much good to go, because not only will you HAVE a set, but you'll have the HIGHEST one. the major threat to hands like these are flush/straight draws. But if you play your cards properly, bet when you should, raise when you should, check when you should, etc., you should be able to chase out anyone fishing for what they need, despite their odds

Default favorite hand

My favorite hand is defenitely J 10 suited. I always play that hand and I would say 95% of the time I seem to win with it. This is a good hand for several reasons. First is the possibility for a straight or flush. If you hit a pair with one of them you can feel fairly confident as well because there are only 3 cards higher then it. This is also a good hand because it is one of the few hands that is actually favored over a middle or low pocket pair. It is just and overall very good hand and I love it.

i really love to see low pocket pairs - 33 and 55 in early stage of tourney.. (deuces are wild, too!) .. 55 i would call a big raises, i crashed kings and aces million times by fives..

and about suits, diamonds are best friends!
