2 me it's just fun 2 watch the 1st few rounds as people try and push it, as they realize that this wasn't hold 'em. So just get a nice stack going on when that happens and then wait 4 the real games 2 begin ![]() |

I think that's a little harsh, max. First of all, if they don't know what they're doing and they're going all in, you will benefit from that by beating them. I used to find the same thing annoying in Hold 'Em; some player going all in all the time (especially pre-flop) used to drive me crazy. Until I figured out that those players are ripe for the picking. I just wait until I've got a hand that I'm pretty confident can be the winner, and I call them. I've cleaned out soooo many players like that...and it's soooo much fun to do it. As for players who accidentally enter an Omaha game, I did that once. (I do think Titan could do a better job of differentiating them on the list.) I don't think I'm stupid; you can ask for second opinions on that from other forum members, if you like. So I'd ask you to see the other person's point of view on this--it might bring your blood pressure down a couple points. ![]()

| i really don't understand omaha.. i played some omaha tourneys, and met that problem.. people pushing allin everyhand.. but as i realized from my own experience, pushing allin in omaha game pre-flop with premium hands, has much lower chances to win then pre-flop allin in hold'em with premium hands.. hands like AAKK in omaha can be a very bad hands if you don't hit your set! and i think that percent of skill-luck in omaha games is different than in hold'em games (i give big advantage to luck in omaha)! that's my theory, i'm omaha beginner, and i'll be omaha beginner in next 10 years for sure! 7 stud, is more interesting to me.. and omaha hi/low can be fun, too

| lol Omaha is very interesting game. The rulez:2 of your cards+3 of cards on flop=the best hand. I prefer Omaha hi/Lo because i see 50% pre-flop and you can split the pot with others many times ![]() I play in agressive style this game because chance to with with 2 more cards is better. |

| I play in a buyin league that has two omaha hi lo games and an omaha hi game a month. Last night I was stuck at a table with the weakest players in the league as far as Omaha 8 goes. One person has never learned and raises and pushes first in. There is no reason to raise in Omaha 8 the pots will build themselves. It is very likely that more then one person will be holding Ace-deuce. Raising with a low will get you called and quartered. Raising with AA/KK smells of exactly what it is. Big pairs have no value in Omaha 8. Two pair and sets rarely hold up. Omaha 8 is the game of the nuts we are talking Flushes and full houses and quads are not uncommon. The only time i dont final table in OMaha hi lo in this league or cash is if I just get cards that dont work together. It happens from time to time. I bided my time last night and as usual got my scoops and went on to final table (but bubbled) . The donks were out way before me. Short handed the game gets really crazy. That is the one aspect of my game I am still working on. I still have a lot more overall NLHE wins vs Omaha 8 and Omaha HI |

Thats kinda hard I would say, concidering almost all of them are either High Low and Pot Limit Tournys... havent seen many, if any, NL omaha tournys... ![]() |

| omaha hi for me if I`m going to play it at all, horrid rule to get nothing and win. I`ve noticed in any omaha tourny`s that you have to call just about every card if you want to be in the hand. |
