Default another badbeat

After being decimated recently by some outrageous gutshots, and especially the Laddies rng rewarding every flush hunting muppet over and over again, I`m sure you`ll appreciate why this one left me grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
2 table tournie, down to last 9, with just over average chip-holding, having survived the early turbo freaks, and a lot of very dodgy straights being made.
On small blind, dealt AK off (currently known as big sick for its unerring ability to fall to A3 or A5 off!), so erring on cautious side, make min raise, and get 3 callers, lets call them "pot stealer" who has amassed a decent stack by chasing some unlikely gutshots, and is now trying to nick anything going, "fisher", who tends to call anything pre-flop, hoping to catch something, and "flush hunter", who has annoyingly chased with any two sooted cards, and also chased several backdoor flushes.
Down comes the flop, AAK, one of which is a spade, and I wonder if I can finally extract some serious revenge, so, first to act, I check.
Pot Stealer naturally makes a 4x bet, trying to represent, Fisher folds, too scary a flop for him, Flush Hunter calls after a pause, and I flat call too.
Turn card comes as a low spade, trying to continue the trap, I check, and curse when both Pot Stealer and Flush Hunter do the same, but hope that maybe one of them may yet catch an interesting river card.
River card comes, another low spade, and I risk the check again, Pot Stealer also checks, damn, but deep joy, Flush Hunter makes a min raise, I do the same back, Pot Stealer, who has played me often, twigs that something is afoot, and smartly folds. Flush Hunter, on the other hand, is having none of it, and raises back, so this time, I up the bet another 4x. Instantly, he comes over the top with an all-in, feeling a bit cruel, I dragged out the suspense, and ran down the clock a bit, before calling.
Yes, sure enough, he`d chased down runner runner flush with the mighty J5 sooted, and the chat box fills with "LOL" messages, as the others see he`s been done by aces full of kings.
I restrained myself from adding to his misery, but shamefully, I did shout out "Gotcha, you flush-hunting muppet" to myself, thinking back to all the moronic beats earlier.

That wasnt a bad beat lol. That was well played. You knew that this "Flush hunter" was gonnd chase for that flush and you made him pay severly for it.
Would have been a bad beat if the chased for a flush and found himself catching a straight flush... best not to think of it in my opinion . Congrats on weaving out through everyone and how did you end up doing in that tournament?

To the End!

That's funny. You should probably state that no Muppets were harmed in the writing of this post, though. There are those of us in the world who love Muppets.
