I just got the first edition of the Party Life magazine in the mail. It's a freebie from Party Poker and I couldn't put it down. Anyone else get one?
It discusses their website, games, interviews with $1Million winners, meeting a future spouse on their site, list of their top 100 ranked players, blah, blah, blah. Very nice, very nice indeed.

I got it, too. Haven't had a chance to do other than scan it, but looks pretty nice for free. Think I'll take it to the pool today and give it a closer look.

It is really is just fancy advertising, but I have always liked PP. The "Kid Wins Big" or "Couple Meets in Poker Room and Gets Married" are nicer stories to read than what we get here in Houston (Andrea Yates, Enron, etc.).

If you don't like the magazine, you can always use it to beat the guys away from you, while you're down at the pool.

Has Anyone noticed that ALL of the major sites, whether it be Poker, Casino, or SportsBetting, are coming out with their own self promotion Mags???

When they see that you are a poker afficianado, they'll be swarming all over you like a pack of wolves with a "How you doin" ... "So you like Poka" kinda beefcake talk. It might turn into a Ultimate Fight Club type of scene.

Dang it, I haven't seen the fall edition yet.
