Anyone every just sit down on a table for like 1$ or something silly on like an omaha table or something you havn't played before and play it? I did it today playing an omaha pot limit HU match for 1$. Its really something, i dont fully understand the works of Omaha yet. Best yet i tried to play Omaha hi/low and i never know what is the hi or low so i always usually coe out looking like a donk. Anyone else ever try doing this?

I tried 4 mounths ago and i enjoy it.
Now i can say i'm preatty good at Omaha HL PL. I won a couple of tournaments and many SNG's.
It's good to change your game to time to time.

i wish i could play the 50000 dollar buy in H,O<R<S<E at the WSOP but i just dont know enough of those games very well except NOlimit lol only 1 so please someone teach me!

drago, I feel so much better since I read your post. I just recently did that--joined an Omaha game by accident. I felt like a total idiot. It was a cheap buy in, so I went all in early on with what I thought was a good hand. I figured I'd either win big and have enough chips to coast for a while until I figured out what was going on, or be put out of my misery. I was out of my misery in no time!

Omaha is a totally different game than Hold Em, but it is a very fun game. Add in the H/L factor and hold on to your seats. It's H.O.R.S.E. and RAZZ are totally foreign to me, and I'm too old to learn.

i tried omaha and yes it was buy mistake ,entered wrong sng....got thrashed ,make sure i look at what im joining now . much to hooked on hold em

I enjoy Omaha, actually. I just don't play it often enough. It took a while to get used to the fact that I could only use two of the pocket cards, though. I'm interested in finding out more about H.O.R.S.E. and Razz, too.

i have done that also ivandrago. (sat down at a poker table and started playing a game of poker i knew nothing about) had a great time too. came out ahead to boot. PAI GOW POKER i actually ended up liking it too. hmm .. never would of thought that either.

I still think that holdem is the best game after trying multiple other game types..
