Phil Ivey was out yesterday i believe..About how great a player he is..Let me put it this way...When some of the top 10 professional poker players like Doyle Brunson, Gus Hansen, Howard Lederer were asked who the best poker player they think was...without hesitation they said it was Phil Ivey...Checkout Ivey's Profile at BBP and his notable winnings till date.

Phil Ivey is defenitely the best player out there. Random question that I have always wondered about. If you finish in the money at the wsop are taxes taken out on your winnings? If they do then if you finish in the money and the government takes like 40% then you still might lose money overall. Like all the people who won $14,000 if the government takes 40% they would be left with like $8,000 which is $2,000 less then what the bought in for. Just curious because I have no idea.

hachem played well and deserved a better fate, phil hellmuth, layne flack and texas dolly kinda disapionted me as they should still be in. another past champion that put up a good showing was robert varkoyni who was in the top 100 every day until he lost out. so we all can cheer for annie duke as the rest of the field, excluding allen cunningham are relative unknowns.
