My apologies. I didn't realize that if 9 played, only 1 is paid. I was under the impression that the minimum payout is 3 places (similar to the second season league). I think it makes sense to have 3 minimum payouts. We're definately not going to have more than 29 players, so we might as well have a fixed number of spots that get paid as in the 2nd league.

I will try to get it changed asap, but it might be too late for the tourney on Wednesday. Just hope we have over 9 players registering.

There's an unspoken rule here that i think is worth mentioning so everyone is clear. If a player does not show up or sitsout for the entire tourney and finishes in the money, he won't be rewarded any points for that game. The next player who got knocked out on the bubble will receive those points.

lol.. i didn't saw my post here was discussed.. (this thread has a lot of pages)..

i think it is all fixed now and first 3 paid is fair enough.. i just finished first buy-in event, it was 12 people in there.. and we were missing 3-4 of standard players..

maybe it would be more interesting in a game with 15 or more players to give points to first five.. but there is 12 buy-in events, everybody has his chance, so i think it wouldn't be fair to change the rules when games started..

If i can not play this tournament, i will be happy because i will learn playing the best poker.

This is totally fair and reasonable, BBP Guru. I assume you posted this in regard to the fact that I (and maybe) more people sat out last night. In my case, it was due to connectivity problems, but I was going to suggest that any points I might have gained be moved to the next person below me anyway.

we had our irst buy in game for the league this past week and their were 12 people. not a bad turnout for the first event but hopefully it will grow.

I would like to apologize for not being active in the league or the forum the past week. I would also like to apologize for missing the freeroll on sunday. I have been busy moving into a new house and havent had internet. Right now I am stealing wireless internet from the neighbors so hopefully I will be able to play in the buy in tonight. Problem is that they tend to cut their internet off around 10pm so I may get booted during the middle of the tourney tonight.
