Unhappy Disturbing trend

Last night's freeroll was a great game, except for one thing...

Some of the new players were seriously trash talking each other. I also find it aggravating when one player is raising and going all in all the time, usually with not much if any kind of a hand. But it's up to the player to play however he/she desires. (I have posted elsewhere that usually you can make money on those players, if you're patient.) But there's no reason to start demeaning any one, or criticizing the way they play. That's one of the qualitites that has really enhanced my enjoyment of the BBP games--very good sportsmanship, even in the face of stunning defeats. The only other times I've ever witnessed rude chat was when interlopers were crashing our games. I've never seen it between BBP forum members.

So, how about it guys? Can we agree to play killer poker in a friendly way?

Geez, I step away for one minute, and all kinds of crazy hell breaks loose. I won't tolerate bitching and moaning or negative insults with the intent of just being mean. We've created a friendly image over the last couple months, with some trash talkin here and there, but its all in good fun, and I do not want to see that just go out the window.

everybody have his own style of play, we can't comment that - i think that's why we now start with 3000 chips, to avoid ALL-IN every hand tourneys.. I didn't noticed trash talk on the table, maybe it was in first half on tourney, when we were on different tables. Final table was really friendly as always.

and thinker, sorry for last hand you raised my blind when was three of us, i moved all-in, you long think to call, and i typed in chat : "low pp" and i was holding AA, and you called with 105off but that's the part of tactic..

I wasn't at that tourney, though I wish I had been. However, I can't agree with Thinkerbell and Trip enough. There is enough friendliness in our league that we don't have to trash talk one another.

Now, Trips sometimes trash talks, but he's so over the top that you can tell he's joking. That's okay, as far as I'm concerned. But I agree that there's no room at our tables for insults.

If someone's chat is bugging me, I just click on their name, then Ignore Chat and Voila ..... sweet silence.

i did not see any behavior like this ta my table either. everyone at my table was very polite and we enjoyed some quality poker play. sorry to any of you who had a bad experience on the other table because this forum is usually not like that and we all enjoy friendly and competitive poker play.

Nothing worse then a trash talker at a table... one of the joys of playing online - Click their name, hit silence and thats that!

I have played live games where I wished that feature was on the table, but it wasnt. I kept clicking this guy, and he wouldn't shut up. I wonder if I could get one of these things for my wife? Do they make them for bosses as well? hmm.
