I was wondering if anyone has tried these. And if anyone has come close to winning 5 s n' g's in a row. When/if I get my bankroll up abit I'm gonna give the "maui" 1 a shot. Its only 5 + 1($15,000) so I should be giving them a go by the weekend. They also have 1 that cost 20+3.50($25,000) and another that is 50+8($100,000) and the cheap one is the dirty dozen where you have to win 4 in a row and it only cost 2 +.40($2000). I'll try that 1 for awhile. But you do have to beat out 12 players 4X instead of 10 players 5X so it kind of evens out. Plus the 2+.40 one starts out 6 handed on two tables. I prefer short-handed play seeing how I'm a pretty aggresive player.

I've played them, but never come close to winning 5 (or 4) in a row. They are fun tourneys, though. I have won some of the Dirty Dozens, just not consecutively.

I've played in the $20+3.50 ones. I won 6 consecutive 1st and 2nd places in a row qualifying for their $300 bonus. The blinds go up like crazy in these tournaments and i'd say a lot is dependent on luck. So after winning the $300 bonus, i stopped playing these jackpot SnG's.

i won 3 dirty dozens in a row, and was 3rd (or 4th) in last one.. the point is, when i played them, it was my beggining stage of learning hold'em (and it was after 6th or 7th beer).. i think i called every hand (i raised any suited card), i moved on gutshots and flush draws.. and i did really well there now when i know something i'm always fished by somebody who played like me before,so winning a single Dirty Dozen for me is now like winning a WSOP..

i really like those RIO jackpots, but buy-in is still too much for me.. 6 players, 3 in the money, looks very attractive to me but i'm not ready yet to risk 20+3 $ for buy-in .. i hope i'll play them in future!

My best was I won 2 Maui's in a row. Then got a 2nd so I no longer was going to win the jackput but at least I was elgible for the consolation which is $200 bucks I believe for top 2 in five in a row. Then on my 4th game I had a commanding chip lead with 4 people to go. I had more chips then the other 3 combined and then lost my connection. I had internet, but I just couldn't get onto the poker site. When I finally got back online it was down to 3 people and I was just about to be blinded out. I tried to make a come back but I was good as dead. I wrote them and complained about the connection problem but they never responded. Oh well, i probably would have blown it on my 5th turn anyways.

my best win is 2 dirty doezen in a row..but there u must be really lucky to win some...turbo turbo tourney..not skill..all u need is luck and tones of luck...is a tourney for ppl who don;t like strategy...and raise 8*bb only if they have the nuts not 2 suited cards and a backdor flush...is a great fun tourney thow.
