ESPN does do a good job with the WSOP coverage. However I wish they could show it sooner. I mean everyone already knows who won by time they show the main event.

I forgot to mention that if you check out ESPN Classic, especially on the weekends, they show the final table of past tournaments. I saw 2003 the other day.

Good post about mentioning the player cap, RA2005.

Im not sure if the people who organize these things would actually want a player cap, because think about it, the more players who enter, means the more money they would actually make from it.

If i was part of the organization of the WSOP, i would encourage more players to enter coz it creates so much buzz and so much promotion and so much money for them.
Next thing you know, the WSOP will start charging SuperBowl#'s (Not now, but maybe in the future) in terms of Ads to companies who want airtime when they show the events.

Poker is starting to get that big now, why, because everyone can play it and they've proven that anyone can win it.

up here in Canada; barely ever see the newest wsop. Only stuff from like 2003-04. I think it sucks; esspecially since my only hopes of seeing some real games are on TSN and they don't bother. I think they should be airing these games on the net. That would be the best way to get the maximum number of viewers, hell, even charge for it. i'd buy it

Joeseph Hachemseems like a good player but i think he was just catching cards. i have played with hm before and he did not seem that strong of a player to me. but that is the beauty of this game, anyone can win and that is the honest truth. you just win one of these tourneys and you are set for life that is what makes poker so attractive, the fortunes that can be made. thanks
