| This was some interesting reading. But the investors making the offer have not been able to finalize (lock down) the capital for the offer. And besides, the shareholders would have to approve it before it could happen...not to sure that they are happy about the POSSIBLE offer. Last I heard/read the actual offer has not been made. Sounds more like a hostile takeover IMHO ![]() Last edited by Goober17 : 08-14-05 at 09:41 AM. Reason: addition |

| You say "won"...I assume you're talking about the Championship at the Bellagio. The final table there was Paul Maxfield, the sole amateur, an entrepreneur from the UK Hasan Habib, a top pro in his 2nd Championship final table Phil Ivey, a WPT fixture, in his 6th final table, 2 of them at Championships Tuan Le, winner at Foxwoods, the only Season 3 champion to make the final table John “the Razor” Phan, a top journeyman pro from Long Beach, CA Rob Hollink, a skilled international pro from the Northern Netherlands Winner was Tuan Le. If you're looking for info on another tourney, check the WPT website - they'll have it all there.
