| I'd say that Chip Reese or Doyle Brunson is the best poker player in the world. Doyle with his many bracelets (he won four bracelets 1976-77, main event and deuce to seven lowball both years) but didn't play the world series for many years. Still he has 10 bracelets but if he would have played the series every year he would have won it again I think. Maybe twice. (That would mean 4 main event victories). |

| Chip Resse is known as the pro's pro. Players like Hellmuth, Chan, Ivey, Brunson get all the attention but people who watch TV do not really know who Chip Resse is. The camera's don't really pay attention to Chip Resse and the only time I have seen him at a TV table is when he wa in the finak table of the HORSE in which he went on to win. He is probebly one of the mose consistant players that I have ever seen.
