I was playing some Limit on Party to collect the August Reload Bonus last weekend and wasn't doing too well until this hand turned me around. To summarize I was dealt KJ and flopped top pair, then made two pair at the River to crack the aces.

Nice nice way to go Dynosaur. I've actually enjoyed playing Limit a lot more than NL. Also KJ is obv the new AA, i mean i have literally never seen KJ lose to AJ, ever. Its weird. I made this post somewhere before also i believe. Great to see your making some money. Just i dont like playing against 9 players in a limit game. I dont understand how people can make money there, to me playing in a limit game with 9 people is only playing luck. Theres gonna be so many bad beats because theres always gonna be enough money in the pot to keep people chasing. But there may be a secret that i havnt learned yet to beat the 9 or 10 person ringgame, i just prefer 6 since im agressive. Keep on cracking those aces.

He, nice hand well played, most be nice to cap the river . I usually 3 bet the flop, but calling and ch/calling turn is good. If river comes offsuit 2 are you still leading? If so i don't mind your line if not then i raise the flop.

That's way i don't like playing limit. You have AA and you bet but you got called because someone is chasing you. In the end you finish calling his bets and give him your money. I'm not sure if you would of called him iceberg if you were in a nl game and he make's an all-in move on the flop.But i'm happy you won the hand. Keep it going.

limit brings the fish out. and its hard to make serious money on a consistant basis.

Jiggy I disagree with that I play limit holdem about as much as I play no limit holdem at the casino I play at here in wisconsin. And some weeks I make more playing limit than no limit... I have NEVER lost money playing limit yet now that may change in fact i'm sure it will but for me I just really play position and try to limp in and see alot of flops...no matter the game poker players need to make money in all of them and you need to find a way to do it.

Fishes are everywhere. Limit or no limit. Limit definitely is a way to make money on a decent basis. I play at the 25/50 or the 50/100 Limit so it is decent money. Players are more liable of calling you down with Ace high in limit. Limit holdem it is impossible to bluff. Players with middle pair will continuously call. It's true too.
