it can pay off, Gavin Smith plays this way early in a tourney. the advantage is you will have more chips when you do win the first few races, the down side is you will be walking home early more often. i guess its important to wiegh how important it is to cash as opposed to taking down first place. it will not be the most consistant strategy but you will win first occasionally with your stack and that IS where the real money is.

In freerolls I don't see why not go all in with a good hand to try to double up and be a chip factor to most. However I hate when you have a great hand somebody calls and some nut with rags calls because they must feel as if they have pot odds in an all in. And the rags end up winning. It happens a lot and I hate when players do that. Pot odds and a players whole stack. Doesn't make any sense.

IMO i think sit n gos is all about aggression. The more you push the better. I like to sit back and play premium hands until 4 out of 10 people are gone and then i push alot. It works for me.

if somebody other don't take his chips before me, i would limp with my premium hand, waiting him to move, then call him.. if you're not sucked till the river, you doubled there very early..

btw.. in almost all freerolls and low buy-ins starting stack is about 1500 on titan (in those regular buy-in tourneys it is 1000)... with 200 people playing with my calculations you need about 10-12k to get into money (if there is lot of siouts 8,5-9,5k would be enoguh).. doubling really early you're at 3k, and if you find another donkey who sucked somebody before on allin and have 3k (and u will usually find them), with doubling against him you're on more than 50% of your way to the money.. i didn't realized before, but late stage of play in freeroll is really important stage of play.. (of course i don't suggest to move with ace-rags od suited connectors) .. sometimes you need to take coin flips, if your ratio of how much you can lose/how much you can win is on your side.. and yes, PP is BIG favourite against ace-high... (but people will usually always call allin with hands like AJ but they will fold with hands like 22 - 55)!
