Guys i am scared lol well not realy i just dont want the pain. I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorow. For what reason i have no clue The dentist just told me to so i do what im told. I have herd bad stories about the pain when they get pulled. And they can bleed for days after

I'm right with you. I need to get mine pulled, too, and I'm scared to death. (And I'm pretty sure I'm a lot older than you.) I guess what I can offer is the reason to get them pulled early. In my case, three of them grew in at least part-way. One of my uppers came in about a centimeter above where it should have, sideways, and the other upper came in about where it should have, also sideways. The single bottom wisdom tooth that came in is almost straight, but angles off toward my cheek, like the upper one.

The result? At least once a week, I bite the side of my mouth on the right hard enough to make it bleed. Then I have to deal with a sore until it heals, usually just before I bite it again. So, given the choice between bleeding for a few days and never having to worry about it again or going through the 20+ years of mouth sores that I've dealt with, I think getting them removed is the right choice.

Of course, since I've had these wisdom teeth for so long, I'm very wise. When they take them out, I will lose a lot of wisdom.

Oh no i had this done about 2 years ago and i have to say when that jag wears of get good pain killers as ii can be bad. saying that the dentist i was at was a bit of a butcher. I hate the dentist now every time even check ups i get that sweaty pam syndrome and just want to leave there and then.

I suppose this aint going to help but hey good luck.

good luck there..i have no problems with teeth..and i was only once to a dentist.(for a medical check) and he asked me..u visit dentist alot ?..i told him..it;s my first time...and he responded...oh whell you teeth are perfect i have nothing to do....so i am glad..i will visit one in 2-3 years again..

I had mine pulled, and it really wasnt that bad. I played golf the next day.

I had one wisdom tooth pulled, and I was not put to sleep for it. It was quite an experience, and I dont recommend that. Even if you are getting one wisdom tooth cut out, request to be put to sleep. The drugs they give you prior to that are wonderful. I think it is called versaid (sp?).
