| If you are expecting that many people, I would find the local poker league, and contact the person running it. Here in Tennessee, we have several poker clubs who have free tournies. They have the chips, and the tables to run something like this. That's what I would do if I had a big crowd like this. Throw him some money for his time and effort. |

| You have really hit upon a true money maker for your group;however in order to make it work it needs to be something more established than a one nite event. There are many online sites that can help you run a tournament which is the way to go. Charge a per player price. Rake 15% for your group and pay out 85% to the players. I would suggest dealers for each table but then you have to cut into your payout to pay them or people from your group can do it for free. You can also have "self-dealt" tables but most players don't like them. GL on your event. Hope you raise a lot of money. |

| Hi We have volunteers getting some lessons on dealing etc. I was planing on 15% as i neeed to cover hall hiring costs. but yea i think were on to a winner at moment. Hope so. Were alos holding huge sportsmans dinner for it next month with pro football speakers at it this is like a full time job lol. Hey anyone want to sponsor it great exposure to a targetted market. |
