| Me in SB, dealt AA. Everyone folds before me, I decide to slow play (Please see my post title "AA too aggressive?" for the reason). BB checks. Flop = AKQ (no flush) (I am happy as hell right now.) He bets .10 I raise to .40 He raises to .60 I reraise to 1.20 He goes all in, Me, with AAAKQ, calls the all in. and the rest is history. He shows TJ for the straight, and I show AAAKQ. I never lose with AA. I put him on K, or Ax, or maybe even KQ, but not TJ. Did I play this right? |

| Someone tell me that was just a bad beat. Getting smashed with an 89s. I am just venting, but dang. 2 times in one night, seeing my pocket Aces smashed by a straight. And the second one just hurts. If I play AA aggressively, everyone folds, and I waste a good hand. If I slow play it, someone will catch their damn straight and kill my hand. What, should I just fold when I get it? Dang. Ug. |
