I'm usually 2 times the BB preflop and bet hard post flop AK unsuited. 3 times the BB preflop and bet hard post flop AK suited. I read this in one of them poker books and I've been successful with it so far.

One of the most over looked hands I find is 10 J any suite. If a 10 J doesn't come up on the board and they are part of a straight, they are the nut straight. Its amazing what u can learn if you read a little.

AK is a good hand, but not the best hand, maybe in tables with 3 4 players can be best, depind what came on river

AK is indeed a difficult hand to play...i ussually try to get into the flop with it with a small raise x2,x3...x4 maybe..but not at all go all in or take a huge raise...
i think AK is a power hand only when you get the pair...or perhaps the str8. Otherwise it's just a normal hand which sould be played carefully.

Well, I'm playing with A K soot and I'm going all in or maybe I bet high, When what did I got, I'm got Q9K on the floop, the turn K on the river A.

From what i have read in poker books, the strategy is to raise so that you take players out of the hand who are on draws or low pairs so that the remaining players also have high cards AQ AJ AT KQ KJ or mid pairs.

You always need to raise with AK, never let the laggers get in. AK is the hand I am always looking for, and looking to win even if I miss on the flop!

It all depends, if you have 2 players in front of you raise, re-raise you should consider folding.

There are no hand that is not worth raising with, but there are hands not worth calling with, and ak is that kind of hand.
You don't want to call with ace king, you want to raise with them.
