That's a great strategy for when you're thinking about moving up in levels. If you need $50 to buyin to a bigger game, play your regular game until you've made that $50, then take it to the bigger table. If you win there, great. Keep playing off your $50 win from the lower table until you've got a more comfortable bankroll. If you bust, you bust - it wasn't your money that you were playing with anyway. But if you're happy with how you played and think you can beat the game, try again!

Besides simply putting in time at the tables, there is another way to bulk up your bankroll: bonuses.

Default bonus

some pokersites have allot of bonuses but their advertising is not that good. they leave out information. so if you are going for depositbonuses make sure you have read all the rules and therms before you do anything

Default rakes

sites arent stupid they offer bonuses based on rakes because alot of people get tempted to try and get their bonuses by playing in these games, but alot of the ones who try to get the bonus end up losing more money than their bonuses are worth

yeah.but I dont think that they should call it abonus instead they can call it " earn money when you play" or something. some sites actually have depositbonuses that you dont have to earn whit raked hands. you just deposit and you get them.

If you're a great player, it shouldn't take all that long to win say $100 playing freerolls. The only thing to remember is not to have it scattered across a large number of sites, and especially not on sites that have significant restrictions on withdrawing freeroll winnings.

Default Earning a bonus

It seems as though the better the bonus in terms of percentage, the harder it is to get. For example Noble is a 100% match, but you get it at a rate of one cent per raked hand. It takes forever to earn any bonus at that rate.

In my experience the best bonus is offered by Pacific for refer a friend. It is $50 as soon as your friend deposits.
