| i had really bad week... losing every important tourney and s&g i've played.. and i can't say i was overplayed there.. i always had monster hands that were really hard to lay down (almost impossible).. i started playing hold'em before 6 months.. i play it seriosly for 3,5 months.. when i say seriously, i mean about the time when i started to improve my game and play. my first moving to the next level (from a total beginner learning the ranking of hands to a intermediatte begginer knowing what the "raise" button is used for) was when i became a members of forums.. i mean, where the total beginner can learn about hold'em in the country where nobody is playing that game, and where there is no payment option how you can buy something online (CD tutorials, poker books) on poker sites, besides forums? but my best move was when i accidentally went to CD store here (to buy some games to play - Tony Hawk Underground ) and saw there is a disc called "World Class Holdem by T.J Cloutier". You can buy discs in store for 2 euros here (on a sale for 1 euro ), so it was really a greatest investment and best spent 2 euros (it wasn't on sale) in my life ![]() i didn't even know who is the T.J Cloutier (i saw the picture of old man with glasses) but in introduction of a disc a saw that he was one of the best hold'em players of alltime. Disc is really interesting, you can play all poker games (5-card, stud, omaha, NL, limit), simulation of WSOP (if you reach the FT you have the chance to play with your host - T.J Cloutier, but the most interesting and most valuable part of this software was section called "T.J TIPS"! there is big tutorial for a begginer hold'em players, about 100 quiz situations where you are choosing the answers, and about 60-70 tips "gold valuable" if you are holding to them.. Everytime i had the bad and losing days on poker, i turn on that program again, give the answer on all of the quiz questions again, and read all the tips over and over to see where i get wrong. i'm not advertising a software - (i didn't payed the valuable price for that software too, but that's because here in my country, piracy is still a legal thing! maybe it's my really pleased review of only poker software i could buy here from which i learnt too much about hold'em - and won and still winning good ammount of money). I turned that software today, read the tips again, and if i can quote, here are some of most valuable tips for me ![]() "Anytime you think you're beat fold. The times that you're wrong will never equal the times that you're right" "Play every opponent differently. You have to pay attention so you know what cards your opponent plays and how they play them." "No limit hold'em is game of mistakes. If others aren't making mistakes, you are'nt going to win. If you aren't making mistakes, you aren't going to lose." "You never have to be a policeman. Don't ever feel that you have to call a players bet or raise just because everyone else has folded." "You can't win a tournament on the 1st day, but you sure can lose it" "The only difference between a pro and an amateur is the ammount they'll win in the same situation. You should always try to maximize the ammount in the pots you win and minimize the ammount in pots you lose." "Before you raise a pot, you have to decide if you're willing to play for all your chips" these is only a piece (i made this post for half an hour), sorry for the lenght or bad english, i wanted to post more, but i didn't wanted to look like i was chasing those 5 extra points for the league i hope it was interesting

| i think everybody has bad luck and bad periods.. my problem is that i always have bad luck in good tourneys.. if i wasn't on tilt today after getting out from that NFL qualifier.. i wouldn't be ever in my life ![]() i played nfl qualifier with 29 players (1st- NFL seat, 2nd and 3rd- tokens for 25k$ tourneys, 4th and 5th tokens for 15k tourneys) .. i made my stack to 3500 then reraised a preflop raise with KK, then that player talked in chat: huhh... AQ? (!?) .. and called big reraise.. flop was something like 244 i betted he moved allin, i called.. he normally had AK, he got his ace on river.. that was 7k pot putting me for sure in top5 at the end. after that loss i wanted to spent my all bankroll for buy-ins (who knows, maybe i would win big ammount) but i didn't tilt is dangerous thing.. maybe i'll change poker room for week or two.. i'm still choosing where to make deposit, and to play there until i clean my bonuses.. after that, of course .. titan again ![]()
