Default What happens if everyone goes all in first hand?

And the pot is not split, it all goes to 1 person.

in a 5 person sit n go do all the losers get second place since they all had same stack going in?

I dont think i have an answer to that. I've never had everyone going allin first hand...even if its a freeroll.

ehhh.. never thought about that..
really don't know who wins the second place if everyone had the same stack when moved allin.. (maybe high card determines the winner of second place !?)

My guess would be that all the losers would be ranked according to their position in relation to the button. The closest to the button would get second, the furthest would get last. I don't know if that's actually how they do it, though.

They would have to do something to distinguish the players, because they can't pay out more than the players put in. Maybe they would pay the winner his normal first place fee and then split the remaining prize money evenly among the losers. That seems like it would be the most equitable solution.

I have no idea i've seen 4 go all in on the first hand. That's the most i've seen all had legitimate hands one had A K one had 5's one had 10's and one had K's. It was definitely wild.

Someone told me that he's done this and all the players get 2nd place prize.

For obvious reasons I'm skeptical, but it sounds logical enough to warrant an attempt.

If we can get a group of 6 people that have money or can deposit a few bucks on Titan/Noble network I suggest we try this out.

Any takers?

We have a $5 buy-in private table at Titan Poker and if we have 6 players we can test it.
