I dont normally like to post about bad beats cos i'm sure i've handed out a few in my time but here goes
i was playing a sit n go last night and we're down to the bubble
I'm dealt JJ
raised it 3x BB
BB calls
Flop J77
BB bets pot
I call(thinking i'm setting a trap)
Turn 2
BB all in
I call
BB shows 72
Do i need to tell what the river was
I'm out in 4th

Same here matey today i had a-k and the flop came A,7,9 so i had trips and easily the best hand, some dufose called me all in 5600 with seven to and hit 2 running 2's on the turn and river i no a few times i have lucky wins im not entitled too but this sucked and lost me the tourny i finished second.

Am I missing something? Unless I'm wrong, this means you flopped top pair, not that you had trips.

A lot of times people already know 72 is the worst hand in poker but they will play it especially if it is suited. Worse hand in poker brings luck to some but for me it doesn't. It is exactly what it is the worst for me.

72os aka the Hammer. I know amongst some of my online poker playing friends it is a fun hand to play. I on occasion will run a bluff with it when playing them.

I've flopped quads only to lose to runner's for a bigger quad. you don't see that every day. the worse part...it was in a cash game and not a tourny. so i was out some serious money.
