Now, to point out one thing that i saw in a post, if the board pairs, u don't have to immediately fold if you're drawing to the nut flush draw. Sure, you might be drawing dead, but if it's not expensive to stay in than there's no reason to fold. You just have to worry about fishy looking bets or all in bets on the river to see if your nut flush or straight may actually be good.

Omaha is fun to play and to watch people learn to play it. I,ve play in a game once a week probably for the 9 months. We play 2/4 and it still amazes me the same people cannot understand this game. How difficult is it to realize you have to use 2 cards in your hand and 3 community cards. The same people will raise and reraise thinking they have a full house only to be taught once again you are using three cards in your hand therefore you only have 2 pair. I actally love it cause I rake in the money. The funny thing is is that the same people keep coming back every single week and make the same mistakes over and over. I guess they have plenty of money to waste, not a problem with me.

Omaha is another game that I think relies too heavily on LUCK! You can be dealt 2 aces or anything that is unbeatable and not have a clue what you're doing, but you see those 2 aces in your hand so you know one thing as a newb: IM NOT FOLDING! so you call peoples bluffs with a pair of aces and they are looking at u like you're a pro... when really you're a stubborn newb who doesnt know wtf he is doing... i cant stand omaha, at a full table, there are only 7 cards that are not dealt! THATS CRAZY... the odds people can be really good at omaha

I first played omaha by accident, i joined a sit n go tourney thinking it was holdem and when it started i received 4 cards (wtf) lol and I saw it was omaha not holdem, looked in the net for an explanation and played that tourney, I didnt really like it at first but then it got interesting. I dont really win at it but its ok Ill play it now and then but nothing beets holdem. mildseven

I really dont care much for omaha. I think you should be able to use any 2-3 combination either three from your pocket and two from the table or two from your pocket and three from the table. Because their has been many many times were I have three of a kind in my pocket and cant use all three same with sthraights and flush oppertunities.

Pot limit omaha is a very fun game to play. The only thing i dont like is it screws me up when i go back to holdem. I get dealt 10 5 and im waiting for my 2 other cards. If you wanna see how to play omaha watch phil ivey play it on TV. He is the best.
