Few websites in the Poker industry have created as much of a buzz as Full Tilt Poker. Headed by an all star cast, including big names such as Phil Ivey and Howard Lederer, and boasting an incredible 10 million to anyone who wins the World Series of Poker, the hype is understandable! With all the excitement surrounding Full Tilt Poker, I wanted to find out if this site had the substance to back up the hype; here are my impressions.

Full Tilt. like Noble, has a ton of good promotions. It is growing very popular. The play isnt bad either.

On the commercials there is both Phil Ivey and Howard Lederer... do they play @ full tilt with the public? Or do pros have their own private tables? That would be awesome to play against a pro online... take a screenshot of you raking up the pot lol. If they do play on the site... do any of you know their usernames? I'd be interested to talk to one.. although i am sure they get sick of that.

On the pokerstars commercial, moneymaker gives out his alias... lol thats pretty daring i bet he regrets that now.. poor guy probably has to turn the chat off ;(

What did he say his alias was, like 1800 or something? I didn't understand what he said in the commercial

id you could play on one site would it be Full Tilt Poker or would it be Poker Stars. any suggestions are appreciated thanks

Full tilt.... pokerstars is too crowded! Also full tilt has 100% match deposit bonus... pokerstars has like 25% which is nothing compared to sites nowadays, their bonus deals are blown out of the water, but they have all the pro players to support their ego.

When the pros are playing at FT, you will see the table name in red. That indicates one of the pros is seated. Most of them play the high limits, but you'll find them at the lower levels from time to time. It's also great to watch them play those higher levels, just to be a railbird and see the pros in action.

I thought Moneymaker was Money800 or something like that...I confess I ignore the commercials.

PokerStars rarely offers a bonus because they don't need to. They have the rep since two WSOP winners have come from their site, and they get plenty of traffic. Bonuses are offered to entice people to deposit - Stars doesn't need to do that (much).

FT has a nice bonus, but if you're playing the lower limits (say .50/1.00) NL - it's going to take you forever to work if off. It's worse than UB for length of time to complete the bonus. On the other hand, it is released in regular intervals, so that's nice.

Yeah, I agree, that would be really awesome to talk to the poker professionals on full tilt and to play against them... does anyone know their aliases?

Doesn't Annie Duke play on some site and advertise it? What site is it and does anyone know her alias?

Oh and for Full Tilt, do they have a lot of freerolls? If they do, what are the prize pools? Man, I love freerolls, haha!! Graet way to bulid your roll and all the money is free!!

The pros in Full tilt are themselves
ie, Howard Lederer is... Howard Lederer in the site...
that is atleast for the pro's that represent Fulltilt
as for pros that don't represent them, god knows what their hidden aliases are

Annie Duke represents Ultimate Bet ppoker no idea what her name is there...
