Default bad read

okay, I got about 6 guys with mini stacks 1 guy with almost even high stack, blinds 100/200 im on QQ everyone calls up to im in good position and small raise so the low stack will be obliged to put his extra 60 above my raise in then who ever has called the 460 will be put all-in buy me next move!

2 guys fold the 200 to 460- raises and the rest stay in, my theory is this was a tight table for people to call blinds let alone 7calls in total so im guessing theres alot of Ao's hence my QQ's are great and A's and K's have to be pretty much taken out buy 7 players liking what they see! so i move all in, knowing everyone except the big stack is only gonna dent me slightly if they got lucky! everyone else folds against my all in except the big stack and the all in stack! he shows A10, my suspisions are right... BUT WAIT! flop shows an A and as its the only face card to come its all over!

really thought I was good in that tight table/good chips/posistion! (I would of liked to see everyone elses cards as i believe he hit the 1 outa! dont believe there was anymore A's in that deck.)

thats just the way the game goes elon you are a very good player, and the best of us tend to get those terrible beats every now and then. atleast the ace beat you rather than some goof calling your all in on like k-3 or a-2 then spiking their lone high card.

First of all I have to say that I love your play to just raise small so you can reraise after a short stack puts in the small reraise so you can get the dead money in the pot. I will definitly add this play to my arsenal.

My take on the hand would be that since every body only called the raise they were probaly on some drawing hands or mabye low Pocket pairs. And since so many people called in front of them they were getting pretty good odds to throw in a call. If any of the shorter stacks had an Ace I would think that they would just move in themselves and not call. But the other big stack made a pretty loose call there calling with only A10, even with all that dead money out there I dont like calling off my money with A10.
