| I want to back up the ol saying of a"a chip n a chair". I see so many players going all in after they just got beat out of most of ther chips. To many of these times I beleive that the player still has adiquit chips to play on.If you are paitient and the cards cooperate you can get back into the game with 1 or two doubble ups. But5 putting your chips all in the pot 1st hand after the beat really dosnt give you much chance to catch a good pocket. Thankyou for your time!!! Woods

It reffers to an old poker story about Jack Straus. In the 1982 World Seires Main Event he push all his chips into the pot but was called and lost the hand. When he got up to leave he found a single $500 chip under his cigarette pack. He won the blinds in the next hand and after doubling up acouple times he went on to win the Main Event. Just shows you no matter how short you are you still have a chance to win.

| That is great a player could do that. However in todays tourneys that is very impossible considering the number of registered players nowadays. Definitely is a story to remember forever. I'd love to see someone accomplish that in todays events. |

| I to have heard the story of Straus and his incredible chip and a chair come back story, but I just have one question. Obviously it did happen because you can just look at the poker history, but I could be wrong if you go all in are you not all in. I mean I thought if u said you were all in then you were all in fo all of your chips. Yes he may have had a chip he had forgotten about, but to me it doesnt seem like it should of mattered. Straus said he was all in so I feel that chip should have been given to the guy he lost to. Elon05 |

| Depending on what type of tournament you're in a lot of players with a chip and a chair will leave the poker room and not play anymore. That's understandable in freerolls. When I have a chip and a chair I basically see as it is all over. That's just me but some are more relentless and will still play hard. I just see it as a more than uphill battle. |
