Default Titan poker changed tournament structure

I recieved a weekly newsletter from Titan where i saw great thing..
they changed tournament and blind structure on their regular tournaments..
Before starting stack was 1000 chips, now is 1500 and blinds are raising on 10 minutes. I find that as really good improvement, and really great advantage for better poker players.. 1000 starting stack on blinds raising that high was really bad for me.. those tourneys like 2500$ freezeout were very loose, with people calling every raise with any hand .. i think now the skill/luck ratio will increase in advantage to skill!

Man I'm glad you posted this because I did not know this. This is defenitely great for me. I am typically a pretty conservative player who doesnt play many hands. On titan with chip stacks starting so low and blinds going up so fast it was hard for me to play my style of play because I would get blinded away so fast. Heck just look at my play in the league buy ins where you start with 3,000 and you can see what I can do when i get to start with a decent amount of chips. This makes since to me anyway since this is how most of the other sites do it with the exception of the few sites who raise blinds every certain number of hands. I dont really like that either because when you get down to a few players blinds take over very quickly.

of course.. i think if starting stack is better and blinds raise slowly that is only advantage for better players..

my worst situations when i played those loose and donkey 5$ buyins 2500$ tourneys when starting stack was 1000, for ex. i get AK, raise 150-200 chips (because those players there call everything) and miss - someone put me allin and i lose 1/5 of stack .. you can't play hands right when starting stack is small and blinds are raising fast..
