eh mates, i'm really sorry to hear that.. most of the players here are from USA. i read about that problem in last couple of months, but i didn't took it seriosly. I'm hoping this ban will not last forever (until they find the way how they can tax online gambling revenue, or when some of those White House people don't find a way how to transfer this industry to heself.. it's lot of money on the table, so i don't think nobody has interest to ban this for lifetime). of course you will find the way to continue playing (netteler, click2pay, moneybookers.. how they can ban that? maybe they can ban funding e-wallets with USA CCs, but still somebody of us non-us residents can transfer you money to e-wallet). the other way is to ban accessing to poker rooms via IP adress ban.. eh, and that can become a problem

but i'm sure we'll find a way together.. c ya at the tables

now i am glad i am from europe..and yeah i think this law will not force anyone to quit online gambling...players are smart and they will find a way through.i am pretty sure that this law will not come in romania and if it comes no one will respect it...let;s just hope that the law is not aproved.

yes us ameicans find other ways to get money into our online counts other then through banks and credit cards. the problem is that because of the ban sites are starting to ban americans from playing on their site. party poker already is going to and im sure other sites will follow. the sites dont wanna get caught up in any illegal activity either.

There will be sites to play at, but its the fact that PARTY POKER is a goldmine, easily the worst players on any site i've ever played at. I may actually have to get good at poker to make money .

The 2+2 Forums: Official Statements from various poker sites

the offical statements from the poker sites. FTP seems to be the way to go + a 600 dollar bonus is nicE!.

Now 123Law why would you add my name in your post? You need to keep my name out your mouth. If you think I'm bluffing I challenge you to a $400-$1000 10/20 Heads Up. Lemme know if your up for it. Also they ain't bluffing. Sites already have been banning US citizens and more are suppose to take place this week. Funny how you say I'm bluffing though when I bluffed 3 hands the whole tourney. I'm definitely up for that heads up match. Holla at me

You admitted during the tournament that you were bluffing. I will give you credit on the board, you were playing well, and made it further then me. You even admitted to bluffing AGAINST ME.

Its not an insult for someone to say you were bluffing. You admitted to bluffing during the tourny, and then again here,,, but if you were offended because of my comment, then I am man enough to publicly apologize on the board to you. I did not realize that my comment would offend you so deeply.

The game has a certain level of razzing, and you were dishing it just as much as anyone else during the tournament. Saying that someone was bluffing, after they admitted to it during the tournament, and then again on the board,,, does that warrant the above response?

I have to agree with you completely law. It appeared to me that you were simply making a statement and not trying to chastize smooth in anyway. Smooth law was just making a comment and not attacking you in anyway, but I find your above statement to be rude and unacceptable. Guru is running a friendly forum here and there is no room for that sort of talk here. Lets keep this forum a friendly site among great poker players.

are the land based casinos loosing that much money that they pressured conned bribed are threatned this bill through/ This seems to me a 1st ammendment thing. I believe its first amendment. How can they tell us how we can spend our money? it wont be long before someone with money to burn contests it on constitutional grounds. what i cant pee sideways anymore? i cant blow my nose and wipe my left nostril first anymore. How much is the online gambling really affecting the land based casinos?

ode to the poker gods.

may they srike them broke.

they already struck them dumb
