Even with the ban on internet gambling in the US I still believe that there will be sites that allow US players to play. Remember when they banned freedownloading of music on the internet at sites like napster, yes the big dog sites started charging for the music but there are still smaller sites that keep right on letting you do it for free. There will always be the little guys out there that will push the limits to draw people in.

I agree 100%. I see it like the speed limit law. They allow plenty of leeway and usually try to catch the worst offenders. I bet that there will be many sites willing to take a gamble and call the Feds bluff. The risk for them is worth the reward. Very positive odds for the small to medium owners/players.

i hope that will happen.. i have too much friends and players from USA who i would like to continue playing with.. poker.com is decent site and i red that they would never ban US players.. so, mates - see ya there.. i still love your stacks

I heard that partypoker will most likely withdraw in the next two weeks once the legislation is fully enforced. Does anyone have a link or any other helpful information on this building disaster?

Party Poker is withdrawing from the USA october 13th 2006. I certainly the USA corrects this lame decision and allows ppl to play poker online again.

I understand that the Party will be over at Party after the President signs the bill into law (scheduled for this FRIDAY THE 13th, oooOOOooooh). I already withdrew my funds. Actually I had to fight, scratch and claw my way back to $50 and then withdraw.
