Default Quiz question..

now.. the quiz question .. Full Tilt tourney 10+1$ buyin (199 entrants).. 40 players left (18 paid), i'm sitting in small blind with about 5500 stack (very good stack at that moment).. limper from the button, i limped with J9 off, big blind checked.

flop came JJ10 (two diamonds) .. i check big blind bet 400, i reraised to 1000, button folded.
big blind moved allin (he was bigger stack to me) and showed A9 (with no diamond).. it was an easy call...

what must to happen for me not winning that pot?
i think there are only three solutions..

1) ace on turn, ace on river?
2) Q on turn and K on river (or K on turn and Q on river)
3) 7 on turn, 8 on river (or 8 on turn and 7 on river) for pot to be splited

and what are the chances for something like that happen? if runner runner flush has equivalent of 1.5 outs.. what is the equivalent for two consecutive cards to come on turn and on river?

I think for your opponent to win that hand with runner runner he was only about a 4% chance or somewhere along that line. Not to mention for him to make an awful call prior to that.

he moved i called, so turn was 7 river 8.. we splitted my pot for money.. later i lost a coin flip (2 of them) so i was out on unpopular 20th place where 18people are paid..

Yeah sucks when you have them killed and you have to split. Better then losing.

ouch that was bad luck the first hand he was very lucky to catch two cardson the tunr and river but i should not play a coin flip whit only 2 players more to the money i probably only play AA or KK lol whait for the money and then play normaly, (happen to me one time AQ against A7 game: AK497 lose on 27 25 paid) so i learn my lession

Default Quiz Question

Sounds to me that your opponent though you were betting an Ace and not on the Jacks. He/she probably though his Ace/kicker was better than your Ace/Kicker and could get you to fold by going all-in. Surely, he/she didn't think they would suck out a str8. I think it was a bad call on his/her part.
