Unhappy What did i do wrong?

So...i was in a tournament, about 100 people, medium stacked. I was dealt K J suited and i got into the flop with twice bb or something like that...not too expensive anyway. The flop is 7 J 8, different colours so no flush possibility. I check and wait...just one guy bets 2*bb..everyone folds...it is just me left. I call. Turn is 2. Again the guy bets...i raise double...he raises again...i all in...he all in. And he shows 7 8...and that is the end of my tournament. Now, if this was the only time i have been kicked off the tournament like that..i probably would have thought it was bat beat. But..i happened many more times after..i always loose in having highest pair, with good kicker, cos someone else has 2 lower pairs...but they are 2 pairs in stead of one. Maybe i am too noob to realise
how i should play these hands..i really have trouble in folding..never know when i should. I would appreciate any advices. Thanks.

Kj is not really the premium hand but played from a good position is a good one...u did a huge mistake by checking on flop..u needed to bet to check out your oponent..if he raised u had to worry about something..never check a medium hand..(that is my opinion).it is not a bad beat cuz many players are playing suited connectors(they have great odds to beat pp).he could of had set or Aj. and u checked on turn to..that is a big mistake eighter...u were scared of youpr hand..(u didn;t beted) but on river u went all in..i am really confused.

Talking We all need help

Hi Pitorga. I know the feeling but let me show you how I try to deal with things.

While playing a "Sit & Go" Tourney I came up against a guy who went "All-In" every hand that was dealt. Most of the time all the others folded but after a few hands one guy called him only to take a bad beat but from a weak startout hand. So the first player went out.

This guy kept up his "style" and went all in every hand until another guy called him at this stage I held Ace King Hearts so I went all-in with them. My hand held up and I filled the house. Another player out and my stack was up to almost 3,000 in chips. The "meathead" was down to about 1,100.

Next hand and he continued his action all in and continued that for a few more hands until the next guy calls him. The "meathead" wins again and I begin to think this guy has a lucky coin or even a fairy godmother.

A few more hands all in until the next guy calls him and yes, you guessed he goes out and leaves the "meathead" with 3,175 in chips. Then look at the next hand dealt........this is classic....... 8)

Yes......he was down to 350 and looking at the "Exit" signs. It took me another 4 or 5 hands to get the cards to call his all in antics and finally he bit the dust with this hand.....what Royal would call...."NUTS"

The first time I played a 6 player game where "EVERY" hand was all in.

Let's get lucky

My advice is always wait until you are felling very sure of yourself and then bet.
