Has anyone here ever heard of follow the Q in stud? Here is the best details I can come up with. It is a very fun game.



I'm gonna go try and find the complete rules on that. It is so fun.

Ill try to explain it. Here is goes

Ok so it is basic 7 card stud, but when a Q is dealt face up on anyones hand, the next card dealt is now wild. Example Kd 5d As ks 3d
2s 2c 4s 5h Qs

underlined cards are down cards, So after that Q comes off next up card is wild.


The bold card is the Wild card



Kd5d As Ks 3d 5c 9h Quads



2s 2c 4s5h Qs 2h 5s 5 of a kind


Now check this if the Q is somebodys first up card, and 9s are made wild. Then on 4th street another Q comes off then a 7. It counter fits the 9s and they are now no longer wild the 7s are wild..........................Well Im gonna go try to find something a little better to teach game.......Its a blast Ive played it in a Casino in NC. It was awesome

Great game. We also play a version called Black Mariah. If Q of spades is dealt face up, re-ante and re-deal. Makes for some big pots.

Ive played that, but we did a different variation. If the black Mariah is dealt on the turn or river while you are all in, You are all out. I mean it basically nullifies your hand. Its pertty funny. Someone AI on a spade flush draw and they turnthe Qs and still lose. lol
