Default How much $ have you lost?

Hi,
I have heard that only the top players are winners. So for the rest of you (not to be rude), how much money have you lost from playing poker? As for myself, i am a beginner and have lost about $100 so far.

I have not lost anything im still gaining in online poker at poker.com i deposited 50 dollars a while back and withdrew $200 and still have a wad in my real account to play with so its like im just playing without having to worry about losiing anything. I think thats why i win more cause im not as scared to lose it knowing ive gained already and im not out any money from my pocket.

The beginning is always rough, it takes time to learn the game and get going. I lost my first two $100 deposits before making any money back, it's all just a matter of getting your feet wet and gaining playing experience.

It takes $$ to make $$. BUT I bought-in two years ago on Paradise with $100 and lost $20. I found that the players were very tight, so I moved on to Party and discovered their monthly Re-Load Bonuses. I cashed out my original investment and have not deposited since.

Last Xmas I Tilted and lost my $200 bankroll. Thanks to BBP and Titan, I tightened up my game and re-built my bankroll thru FREEROLLS. Money management is one of the most important skills of a successfull Poker player.

i agree that the money managment is most important skill of poker player (begginer poker players like me) ..

i started playing poker with freerolls... then transfered to micro stakes (where i'm still, but sometimes i play some bigger buyin events or "high micro" cash games)

in my poker career i deposited only 20$ then another 30$ (on titan poker) to verify my moneybookers account so i can withdraw via them .. i cashed out about 2000 euros from titan till now, and every time i withdraw i left about 250-300 euros on my bankroll because i don't like to play with pressure.. i invested into vol1 and 2 of harringthon's guide to nl tournaments (80 euros - transports and taxes are high here) but before couple of days i won hallowen 1000$ tourney on titan with 1000ppl so i look to that as great investment

there were losses .. (like today i'm in 20$ loss till the time i'm writing this) but when i look how much i invested i think i will play for their and other's people money in the long future (until i transfer to higher stakes)

Dovla, I think you are the most improved player on the forum. You were always good, but now you're winning tournaments for big money. And the coolest thing about it is that you remain humble, as opposed to getting arrogant. That's great!

I have not lost anything. I have been playing only freeroll winnings, and I am currently up about 10 bucks. I am small time player.

As for cash games here at home, I have been playing for over a year, and I was up about 250 (only playing smaller 10 dollar friendly buy ins). Right now, i am down to about even.

I have not lost any morey and i have only deposited about 200. I have made alot from sites offering freemoney. You should try those sites out. if you good you can turn that free money into a big amount and cash out no problem which i have done. I have made atleast $500 off freepoker money. So if you like my strtagy of putting up very little and winning big leve me a msg and i can tell you were to go. If your U.S... not many ppl will give you stuff free but i think i know a few sites that will still.
