Default Ace Low Kicker

when you get to the middle of your tourney, the blinds are higher, do you even try your a 5/ or just let it go? at 300 a pop there isnt really any limping in .

Depending on what my instincts are. If their are a lot of callers I wouldn't want to play my Ace low kicker. Odds are you are definitely outkicked. Only thing to hope for his 2 pair, trips on your low card, or a straight. If they are suited it definitely gives you more outs so you can call that. But low kickers you have to be careful.

If you're in late position and no one has made a play at the pot, any ace looks good to steal the blinds in my opinion. If the blinds are extremely high you push it. I'm not sure what "300 a pop" plays into, need to know stacks and level.

In early and middle position, I'd let it go UNLESS you've got maybe 3/4 BB's left. Once the blinds come through you, if you don't find a hand you're essentially done. I'd rather get all my money in with something like 78s or 910s to hopefully be more live, but you gotta work with what you've got.

i appreciqate the info. It helps alot. I probably sound like an idiot asking so many questions but i dont care. to learn you must ask and even when you do loose as long as you gained a little bit of knowledge, it wasnt really a loss. thats what i was raised to believe at least.

It's not a stupid question or anything, Ax is hard to play in all stages of poker. Hopefully you keep asking questions, it'll make you a better player and give me a chance to get my BBP points up

Thats a tough spot to be in. Late in the game, with A4, A5,,etc.

I would play this very cautious, to see if you can limp in and catch it. I might play it hard depending on how many people, and what kind of position I am in, but all in all, I will usually always play A2, A3, if it is late in the game.

Late in games I will play Ace low kicker, but try to get in for as cheap as I can, large raise = no call!

ill play an ace low if im in good position, or if its suited. I dont like playing ace low if im not in position or if its not suited bc ur likely dominated by any raise b4 you .

in the end-game it is good hand from late position.. depends of the stack/blind ratio for me..
from the kicker depends from which position i will play it.. A9 is good for middle position or even from early position short-handed, A8 from late middle position, from button if there is no action before ace-rag is good hand...

when blinds are high and ratio blind/stack is less than 4 .. any ace from any position can be considered as moving hand (my opinion).. if you run into someone with ace with Ace kicker that can be the problem ..
