| Ever since a young online player named Chris Moneymaker burst on to the WSOP scene in 2003, there has been a lot of excitement surrounding Poker Stars online poker. And why not? It was from this site that Moneymaker qualified for the WSOP and eventually was thrust into stardom. While that improbable victory put Poker Stars in the spotlight, they’ve obviously backed it up with a quality site that is the destination of many online gamers. | Just like Party Poker, way to many people for me to deal with. |

| Yea it is awful big, however i do think that they have great sit and gos, i especially like the 45 person ones, they fill up very fast and generally have a good mix of really bad and really good players which makes it a lot of fun. I generally do end up losing all of my money because it is way to easy to tilt on the site because of the wide variety of games that are played there. |

| I really like the Play Money Sit and Gos on PokerStars. This is a good place (in my opinion) to learn a lot about the game. The play money tourneys there go pretty much like the low buy in real money tourneys (once you get past the one All In Nut). People take them pretty seriously and you can learn a lot. I wouldn't say the same about the Ring games though. The other thing that is interesting that I have noticed is that the Play Money chips have value. Many were sold on ebay and now that ebay has banned their sale, they are selling on Yahoo Auctions. (auctions.yahoo.com) People also come into the play tourneys and solicit others to sell them their play chips. Why would people buy them? I don't really know, but they do have value. I haven't seen any other play chips selling for money anywhere else. |

| You're right, They do have value, There are many sites that buy and sell these "Play Chips". I don't know if its allowed, but I will try this.... :: AliensHouse - PokerStars Chips and More!! :: (This site is ran/owned/operated by one person, never too full to buy, always sells low price, and is very friendly, Best of all, online about 18 hours a day.) Check them out. Sorry if its not allowed to link. (use google, clieck search " AliensHouse " click i'm feeling lucky.) |
