Hey online poker players. I am very confused about how the Prima poker network works. I have noticed that there are tons of Prima poker websites and that each site usually has the same amount of players. Do all these sites have the same players? If so, what is the point of having all these different websites? And what is the point of choosing one site over another? I was trying to email different Prima sites about the freerolls they offer and I kept getting the same response, "Due to adding different tournaments every day, we can not tell you how many freerolls we offer in the network." Can someone explain Prima to me??

I don't know a lot about Prima, but if it's like other poker networks (iPoker, Doyle's, etc.) then they probably are all interfaces to the same games. As for why they have several portals, think in terms of franchises. Various people own and operate the portals, and they all connect to the same network. Owners probably get paid based on the number of visitors they attract to the network.

If this is the case, the only reason to choose one site over another is personal preference. If you like one site's graphics better than another, then you should use the site you like better.

One more thing ... you will probably find that if you try to register with more than one of these sites, they won't let you use the same username because they are all connected.

Do all the free rolls of every Prima site occur at same time, or does each Prima site have their own set of free rolls?

I don't know for sure. My guess would be that all occur at the same time, but I don't know. At least all the big ones. Maybe not private freerolls. I'm really not sure, though.

all of the freerolls do occur at the same time because i have accounts on two different prima sites, and they have the same number of people in the freerolls.

Thanks for the confirmation, dstazy100. Do you have to have different usernames on the two sites, like other poker networks require?
