im a big fan of 7 2 off on big blind because it always makes me bluff and show and always lose my whole stack.

sometimes I';ll practice a bluff with the 7 2 os but other than that I'll never play it out muck or use em to bluff, and it always seems i'm in small or big blind when i pick em up!

About the only good thing related to 72o is that you're not going to hurt your brain trying to figure out how to play it.

I can only think of one situation where I'm not desperate and would play it voluntarily, when I'm heads up, my opponent goes all-in, and I have a chip lead that's large enough that doubling him up will still leave me well ahead.

72o (aka "The Hammer") is one of my best hands in ring games. It's a bluff like any other....and when you pull it off and show (you have to show!!) it can really set people on tilt. Then of course, you don't raise again till you have Aces.
