Default Unbelievable luck

Ok guys I don't know what to make of this but I've been going to Morongo in Cabazon, Cali the past several times now and I consistantly get owned by bad beats. What happened last Friday was probably the mother of all bad beats.

I was playing $1-3 no limit and I bought in $60 bucks instead of my usual $100 (which is the buy-in limit) and after about 4 hours of playing I was pretty even so I thought things were gonna be all right. What usually seems to happen is a start making some money and then suddenly get owned.

Anyways, I looked down at KK and raised it to about $13 dollars total. I get 2 callers. The flop comes 8 2 2. After thinking I go all in with about 50 dollars and one of the guys fold and this other guy calls. This is a cash game so you don't normally turn your hand over till the end. The turn comes another 8 and the river a K.

So the board reads 8 2 2 8 K.

The mother fucking son of a bitch turns over pocket 8's for quads wtf. So I get owned again by a bad beat, having already taken one last week.

I mean I think they have jackpots if you loose with Aces full to quad 8's or better and I was close but I couldn't even win that.

I just don't know what to make of my incredible luck.

Brandon

Default that wasnt a bad beat

you just got a little unlucky that he hit his pocket pair. You cant blame him for calling a preflop raise with 8s and when you went all in he had second to the nuts. The only thing that made it look bad was that you hit your set on the river.
