that is what you call poker. there is nothing you can do about that except cry. just kidding but not really. like i said there is nothing you cando except watch just be glad that it wasn't for 500 dollars or more. i know its hard but you have to look at the bright side of everything eventhough its hard. you also have to remember that wat goes around comes around so i bet you will get lucky down the road, so keep that in mind. thanks

I had a pretty terrible beat the other day... lost over $100 on this hand... I had A6 of clubs. He has pocket 10s. Flop 4h, 9c, 10c He raises large I call after hesitation next card completess my nut flush... with a Q of clubs... He bets again, bigger this time( so i am like YES) I re-raise all in. He CALLS with a set of tens. Next card is a 4 of spades. TO GIVE HIM A FULL HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also to anyone that tells me that that kind of thing happens often or that they have suffered a worse one... YOU HAVEN"T! There was one way my opponent could have won that hand, to hit consecutive one outers. Thats it. There was one way to win. Hit this card and then hit the next one, its statistically impossible to lose a worse way. I was about a 900 to 1 favorite to win that hand.

Well i was in a tourney, nothin big about 45-50 players, and at the time i guess it was ok for public places like bars to hold tourneys for money. Buy-in was $20 and i was down to the last 4 or 5 players. At the time i'd like to add i was reading a book by ken warren on poker, some of u may have seen/read it. Someone i knew made it to the final table as well, and besides him i considered the other players to be morons. I dont even think they were aware of OUTS. They just knew they almost had somthing.....ANYWAY the hand. I get 88, and i'm right of the dealer, I 4 bet and everyone folds but small blind. Flop --K, 2, 8-- so i'm thinking GREAT!! No flush draw, no straight draw, no nothing. Just my set. He checks, and I make min bet. He raises and put me all-in. I obviosly call to see his 33. I know he's dead in my mind, so i don't mind the 3 that comes from the turn, but the quads on the river convinced me that god hated me. The fact that he raised all-in with 33 is enough to drive someone crazy, but THEN he says, "hmm, maybe u should keep reading ur books". Worst experience EVER
