i''''m up against someone and we both have made a diamond flush on the flop. there is an ace of diamonds showing on the board so does that mean we both have made the nut flush and therefore it''''s a split pot, or does the person with the highest diamond in their own hand win it?

alright m8 i take it by the fact that you are asking your are new to this in the case of flush with ace as a community card highest suit card wins.

Yep like that all said you compare the 5 highest cards that contribute to the flush. I made this mistake back in those days.
