THis isnt really a bad beat but it is a sad sad story none the less. I have been only been playing online poker for about a month. I guess i'm not bad but I still don't want to deposit 50 bucks in my full tilt account. So my plan was to 1. cash in a free roll, 2. take the winnings to a small table, play just premium hands and biuld my bank roll untill I 3. have enough to play with like normal. the first part of my plan worked great. It took me about 4 freerolls to cash, i played in the 2700 people ones at ftp. the game i cashed in was such a brutal game. I was forced to call what ended up bluffs for all my chips numerous times, i had okey cards but not my best, and i was never chip leader at my table! it took every poker skill i had to make 20th in that tournament! but i had 2 buck in my account! i was more accited about it than i am when i bring 200 back from my weekly home game (witch i do quite often now)! the sad part is coming. My next step was to sit at a .05/.10 nl table. and grow my bankroll just a bit, nothing fancy just wait for the cards get my chips in when i new i hand the best hand and the have 3 or 4 in my account. well i sat down with my 2 dollars that took me like a total of 12 hours to win if you add all the freerolls i played to get it. and i wait, and i wait and i wait nothing can't get anything that looks good enough to isk my entire bank roll on. blinds came around again (9 handed ) still nothing, but 4 of the last 9 hands i had just folded i would have flopped trips but i wast about to risk it all with the hands i was hitting(3/8and 6/4 that 2 i can remember that would have given me trips on the flop). i was blinded down to 1.50 finally i got a hand not aces but not to bad either i had AK offsuit so i desided to play their was a preflop raise to .20 and the flop was J84 of clubs. this was it i thought there was a raise ( the one other guy bet half the pot .20 )finally i thought i got this i new he had just a pair by the way he bet but i just really wanted the pot. i had the nut flush draw and tow over cards so i came over the to to .60 to try to put him off the hand , i wanted himto give it up. he ten put me all in witch was like another 80 cents with a buck in the pot i thought for a sec two cards to come for the nut flush with two overcards i called he had the jacks like i thought. i just needed a club but it wasd blank blank and all my hard earned 2 bucks gone well im now back the the begining of my plan and eventually ill be on the other side...the one thats not pot committed with 70 cents in the pot. thats poker though and i love every hand i play of it. if anyone reads this entire thing thanks but just puting it out thier makes me feel better. oh and if anyony know of a more profitable way to get my bankroll away from 0.00 let me know!!!
